Wastewater
Wastewater is processed in a 3 million gallons a day state of the art facility using the Kurger BIO-DENIPHO PROCESS. The effluent is suitable for use as reclaimed water and is used for irrigation on campus and at the Progress Energy Co-generation plant. The plant also includes features to foster academic use including labs for teaching and research.
