ELECTRICAL
The primary function of the electrical office within Operations Engineering is review and inspection of all the new construction and renovations projects on campus. All reviews and inspections are according to UF standards. This office also has knowledge of and maintains information on the UF electrical distribution system, transformers, building electric, and electric meters.
This office provides daily support to the Systems Department within PPD preparing estimates related to electric projects, overseeing and monitoring the utilities consumption via utilities monthly meter reading, and updating electric distribution and streetlight prints on a quarterly basis.
