BIOENGINEERING
Mission Statement
Bioengineering Services was established to provide technical support to the Health Science
Center staff, faculty and students, as well as the entire University community. Services include:
- Electronic and medical equipment assessments, repairs and modifications done in-house or on-site
- Annual lab equipment and facility safety inspections
Electronics Section
- Fabrication and modification of biomedical equipment and prototype devices
- Plastics (acetal, polycarbonate, lucite, pvc, teflon, polystyrene...)
- Custom hypodermic needle fabrication
- Sharpening service (hypo, scissors...)
- Welding (tig, arc, spot, acetylene, silver soldering)

- ADA compliant directional and room signage

- Photopolymer

Stock Room
Bioengineering Services is an auxiliary and therefore must charge for services it provides. A (Job Request Form #15-0472-2) and Purchase Order are required for all services.
