Human Resources-Employee Relations
At the PPD Human Resources Office, our duties include:
- New employee payroll sign-ups and Open enrollment benefit changes at the designated open enrollment time period
- New employee orientation
- Policies and Procedures
- Benefits
- Creation and revision of position descriptions
- Performance Appraisals and TEAMS contract disbursement
- Career counseling
- Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) monitoring and administration
- Facilitates employee disputes (formal and informal)
- Coordinates all training programs and provides training sessions on various topics.
- Provides a secondary, anonymous, outlet for employee concerns
- Provides UF policy interpretation for all employees

- Providing state and UF policy interpretation for all employees.
- Providing USPS Probationary Employee follow-up for new hires and promotional employees.
- Assisting with formal and informal resolution of employee disputes.
