STREET SWEEPING
The Street Sweeping team is comprised of 3 full time employees who work an evening shift, Sunday through Friday from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The team is responsible for the upkeep of over eleven miles of streets on campus as well as numerous parking lots and service drives.
A regenerative air sweeper is used to clean the many curbs along the street to keep them free of debris so water from rains can flow into gutter drains. Backpack blowers are also used by the Street Sweeping team to get into tight corners in service drives and parking lots. Blowers are also used at night to clean patio areas and sidewalks.
