RESEARCH & ENGINEERING EDUCATION FACILITIES
Physical Plant Facilities is responsible for the care and maintenance for the University of Florida Research & Engineering Education Facility 45,000 square-foot facility at Eglin Air Force Base, Shalimar Florida. This includes fifteen research laboratories, two professionally equipped taping studios, auditorium seating for 110 people, a student computer laboratory and office space for the students and faculty.
The landscaping and grounds are kept well groomed and the irrigation system is monitored and maintained in top condition, which coincides with the beauty of the Gainesville Campus Community and REEF Facility.
