ISSUE OF STOCK ITEMS
The Issue Counter is staffed by three Senior Storekeeper/Receiving Clerks under the direct supervision of the Stores/Receiving Supervisor.
The Storekeepers assigned to the Issue Counter process all issues of Stock Items. It is his or her responsibility to handle each customer in an efficient and courteous manner, and to accurately fill each order.
Issue tickets are prepared with the Assetworks FME Software, the items are picked and brought to the issue counter, then the customer signs for the material.
The Stores Manager reviews each day's issue activity to insure accuracy and to observe trends in usage of stock items.
