The primary role of PPD Central Stores is to facilitate the reliable, efficient and economical procurement of supplies and materials to support the maintenance, repair, and janitorial needs of the Physical Plant Division. Central Stores has the responsibility for requisitioning, receiving, warehousing, inventorying, and issuing stock and special order items for Physical Plant Division operating departments. There are currently over 8,700 items carried in inventory.
Stock items are issued to other departments outside of PPD when such issues will not prevent us from accomplishing our primary responsibility to supply the needs of PPD. Central Stores is also the Central Receiving location for PPD. In addition to our main warehouse located at 705 Radio Road, we are responsible for maintaining the storeroom at the Health Science Center that serves the specific operational needs of that location.

The Health Science Center location has three full time employees equally dedicated to helping
their customers. We are dedicated to the advancement of the university's mission and are committed
